Customer Service Associate

We have an immediate opportunity for you to work with the industry leader in the IT certification preparation business. Customer Service Associates are responsible for professionally and patiently responding to all customer inquiries about the purchase and use of Boson Software products via telephone, customer support ticket and e-mail systems.  Our product line includes our NetSim® Network Simulator, ExSim-Max Practice Exams and Courseware. Use your great people skills to help increase our sales and maximize satisfaction for our international customer base while learning about the IT certifications we support.

Our preferred candidate has a degree in IT, Business, Communications, Marketing or other related discipline. One to two years of practical work experience is expected. Experience with computer-based training applications, help desk, networking and/or the IT certification process will be preferred along with competency using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. Additionally, your willingness to patiently listen to the customer and creatively and enthusiastically solve problems is necessary. Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This position interfaces with a variety of corporate team members. Typical of most desk jobs you will be using a computer and monitors, mouse, telephone and reference materials including books.  Expect to work seated, steadily taking phone calls and responding online to a variety of support tickets and e-mails throughout your day, 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM, with one hour for lunch. This position is full-time, salaried,  non-exempt and is based in Nashville, Tennessee, (Donelson) near the airport. Send resumes and cover letters to HR@Boson.com.
