Military Requirements

In addition to validating your IT skills and networking training, Cisco Certifications are a must for certain IT positions.
  • DoD Mandate: The DoD Directive 8570.01-M mandates all government personnel, civilians, and contractors with privileged access working on networks are required to receive industry IT certifications.
  • CNSS/NSA 4011: Cisco CCNA Security and Cisco CCNA courses meet the CNSS training standard as outlined by the Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professional Recognition, the National Security Agency (NSA), and the Committee on National Security Systems.
  • By being 4011 compliant, the Cisco Security certification program ensures that certified network security professionals assisting federal agencies and private sector entities understand what is required to protect information and aid in the defense of the nation’s vital information resources.

5 stars Instructor is what made the class enjoyable
8/29/2017 3:00:53 PM - Michael - Daytona Beach, FL US

I think adding class time for additional training at the end of the book would have been preferable as there is testing on that as well.

I have not taken my exam yet, however on the class Brian the instructor was very personable and made the overall experience more

5 stars Excellent Class
12/9/2016 1:53:36 PM - Willie - Hurlburt Field, FL US

This an excellent CCNA Security training class. I thought the instructor and facilities were great.

Mr. Bryant Baize is an excellent instructor that brings knowledge and industry experience to the classroom. Thanks Bryant for everything we learned a lot…

4 stars Should be two weeks
8/29/2016 10:22:46 AM - Jesse - Cary, NC US

The course should take two weeks. There was plenty of material that the professor had to skip to concentrate on the areas that he knew were on the test, and I remember questions regarding Cisco FirePOWER and FireSIGHT.

5 stars Thank You

Thank you Boson and Bryan Baize for the great class. The virtual class worked out really well for me!

5 stars Would not change a thing
5/3/2016 8:47:52 AM - Kevin - Evans, GA US

For me the format of the class was perfect and would not change a thing. The labs were challenging and took some time to complete but allowed enough time to explore on your own. The lecture was just the right balance otherwise we would not have gotten through the labs. Again, I do not see where the course could have been better.

One thing I would recommend is if students come to class and have not been
working with the Boson Exam practice test, I would recommend they not take
the exam at the end of the week. After returning I took the practice exams and realized that further preparation was necessary. The level of detail of these questions are a little bit deeper than what could be picked up in the class.
